My dream for the Canadian Vineyard is…
From our earliest experiences with this tribe we resonated with the belief that relationship is key in the way God chooses to advance His Kingdom. We loved the “posture” that everyone can participate. We echoed the belief that character and humility not only gifting matters when it come to issues of leadership. We embraced the belief that the least and marginalized among us have great value in God’s eyes and are to be considered as we create community. We felt relieved and challenged by the Vineyard’s embracing of the tension that is found in the “now and the not yet” understanding of the Kingdom. My connection and commitment to these core values of the Vineyard is what continues to tie me to this family today. My hope for the Canadian Vineyard is that we can reconnect with those same values in a fresh way, learning in this present season how life giving these truths can be and how critical it is that we pass on this understanding to the next generation. I believe we as a tribe do have something to bring to the table of the Faith community. We come with a tradition in our history of honoring the whole body of Christ and yet with the understanding that we too have something to give. I would love to see the Canadian Vineyard regain confidence in what we do carry and cultivate a renewed sense of responsibility to the “trust” that we have been given.

David and Anita have 4 adult children, one son-in law, one soon to be son-in law, and one granddaughter.
