Larry & Odia met in the fall of 1996. Their first date was at the "Fragrance of Justice Conference" in Winnipeg with John Wimber, Jackie Pullinger and David Ruis all sharing about how God's justice is manifested in our world today. They were deeply impacted by all that was given, although at that time the information was purely embryonic in nature it definitely has set the tone for their life and ministry.
They were married in the spring of 1997 and in 1998 joined the Winnipeg Centre Vineyard where they were involved in prayer and prophetic ministry until 2006. Meanwhile Odia studied at the University of Manitoba completed a Fine Arts Degree (Ceramics Major). Her art has been an inspiration to many who struggle with trauma and unforgiveness as a result of violent crime (odiareimer.com). During this time Larry worked with individuals with physical and intellectual challenges.

In 2006 they heard the LORD speak to them, "Get your house in order for you to move!" The year prior Larry had been doing pastoral internship at WCV and felt the LORD calling him into ministry somewhere. They were led to Altona, MB, where Larry worked as an Executive Director with Youth for Christ. Odia took a job with Friesen's Corporation and now holds the position of Corporate Marketing Manager.

Throughout their years in Altona they connected intermittently with Cornerstone Vineyard and started attending regularly in 2011. After two years they felt the LORD lead them to be involved in a congregation in Altona supporting the work of friends there. In 2015 after 16 years of infertility Georgia Wynne Reimer was born. She arrived at 26 weeks gestation, (1 pound 13 ounces) and spent the next 84 days in hospital. It was during this time where Larry again had an encounter that left him searching for more purpose and direction. He decided to become a Chaplain and studied at Booth College in Winnipeg . Upon completion of those studies they had started attending Cornerstone again. Looking for chaplaincy positions Cornerstone leadership got wind that they were looking and asked if they would consider pastoring the community at Cornerstone.

They started in the fall 2018 and have been enjoying building into the coming that is emerging at Cornerstone. Their journey has been impacted by the genetics of Worship and Justice of the Vineyard and the Intercessory Ministry of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. The saying "Let Worship and Justice Kiss" has been a marker that they have tried to live by.
