Prayer, Spiritual Direction, and Coaching Sessions
During the National Celebration, we will be offering 35-minute individual sign-up options in time slots each afternoon (Thursday, July 21, and Friday, July 22) for Spiritual Direction, Coaching, or Prayer Ministry. We are excited to provide our leaders with this type of support as, together, we emerge from the global pandemic.
-
Spiritual Direction
Spiritual Directors primarily deal with our current experience of God. Tools like compassionate listening, good questions and observations, and discernment are used. The orientation of spiritual direction is to deepen our awareness of God's presence, communication, and activity in our lives while helping us discern how we wish to respond and nurture our relationship with God. -
Coaching
Coaches ask powerful questions and offer insightful feedback. They primarily deal with personal development through understanding Identity and design. They use objective tools like the DISC/Strengthsfinder/Birkman, EQ, etc., to help individuals gain clarity and focus. The orientation of the coaching paradigm is towards development using action steps and accountability. -
Prayer Ministry
Prayer ministers seek the intimate presence of God as the source and foundation for encouragement and up-building. We listen and respond to God's invitation for prophetic encouragement, impartation, and healing from this place of "presence."
